AAMS 2025: Exploring the Future of Metal Additive Manufacturing

AMAZEMET is excited to announce our participation in the upcoming Alloys for Additive Manufacturing Symposium (AAMS) 2025 that is going to take place in Neuchâtel, Switzerland from 3rd to 5th of September. This event is a key forum for academics and industry professionals to discuss advancements in metal AM, and we are proud to contribute our expertise in ultrasonic atomization and material upcycling.

We will be presenting groundbreaking research on our powder2POWDER technology, a new approach to alloy development and powder recycling. This method offers a flexible way to create new alloy compositions and process reactive elements without needing specialized feedstock, presenting a significant opportunity for sustainable innovation.

Join Our Presentation at AAMS 2025

Our team will be presenting key findings from research on the powder2POWDER module. The presentation will delve into the challenges of creating novel alloy compositions, particularly for reactive elements like titanium and nickel. Bartosz Morończyk will explain how the traditional methods of preparing homogenized feedstock are often complex and costly.

He will then introduce an alternative approach using ultrasonic atomization combined with the powder2POWDER (P2P) module. This innovative method allows for the direct creation of spherical alloy powders from simple powder blends, eliminating the need for specific feedstock shapes. The presentation will feature case studies on reactive Ti-based alloys, such as TiMo and TiNbZrTa systems, providing detailed data on powder morphology, particle size distribution, and chemical composition before and after P2P processing.

This session is designed to offer a deeper understanding of how our technology can streamline the development of new alloys and provide initial guidelines for blending powders to achieve homogeneous, spherical powders suitable for additive manufacturing.
