Don’t Miss Our Presentations at ITSC & AeroMat 2025
Our team will be contributing to the technical program with insightful presentations by our Aplication Engineer Bartosz Morończyk:
Title: Ultrasonic atomization – a novel powder production method with low cooling rates advantageous for CS
Date: Wednesday, May 7, 2025
Time: 1:50 PM
Location: Room 18 (Vancouver Convention Centre)
Speaker: Bartosz Morończyk
Bartosz will be showcasing AMAZEMET’s novel approach to metal powder production using ultrasonic atomization, emphasizing the low cooling rates inherent to this method and their benefits for Cold Spray processes. You are highly encouraged to join this session to understand how the unique characteristics of our powders, such as the absence of metastable phases and lower hardness, can enhance Cold Spray applications. The presentation will include case studies on X65Q steel and an aluminum alloy, highlighting the differences compared to traditional powder production methods for cold spray coatings.
Title: Alloy Prototyping in AM using the flexibility of ultrasonic atomization
Date: Wednesday, May 7, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM
Location: Room 16 (Vancouver Convention Centre)
Speaker: Bartosz Morończyk
This presentation will highlight how AMAZEMET’s ultrasonic atomization technology addresses the growing need for a wider range of metal alloys in powder form for additive manufacturing. Unlike traditional methods with high material input and limited material compatibility, ultrasonic atomization enables the cost-effective production of tailored powders in small batches, ideal for rapid validation of novel alloy compositions for prototyping, research, and unit manufacturing. Case studies with custom Mg, Al, Ti, and HEA alloys will showcase the versatility of our technology for reactive and exotic materials in 3D printing and other advanced manufacturing techniques.
